Sony X-Series SRS-XP500 Portable Wireless Bluetooth Speaker – Black, Supply your party with powerful sound and a variety of entertainment options with the X-Series SRS-XP500 Portable Wireless Speaker from Sony. When used for music playback, the multi-driver X-Balanced system inside uses front tweeters and woofers for a soundscape with clear highs and booming bass. Additional inputs allow the connection of an optional microphone or guitar, so you can let guests sing with karaoke, or play along using the SRS-XP500 as an amp. Add water-resistant construction, long battery life, and LED lighting, and the SRS-XP500 is an ideal fun solution for indoor or outdoor gatherings. Battery care feature helps avoid overcharging. Supports Fiestable for making party playlists, karaoke, and more.
X-Balanced Speaker System
Inside the SRS-XP500 are dual 1.96″ tweeters and dual 5.51″ woofers.. They are made to deliver clearer and richer sound by utilizing Sony’s X-Balanced architecture, which has a noncircular diaphragm for more surface area than standard round drivers.
IPX4 splash-resistant design
With an IPX4 splash resistance rating, the XP500 speaker can stand up to splashes and spills, so you can enjoy the party with no worries.
Music Playback Options
Primarily designed to wirelessly stream music from a Bluetooth-compatible smartphone or tablet via files or app, the SRS-XP500 can also play music from an (optional) portable hard drive or USB flash drive. Simply plug one into the Playback USB port on the rear of the speaker.
Customize Your Sound
Activate Sony’s MEGA BASS when playing music genres that need an extra punch in the low end, or use LIVE SOUND to simulate the sound of a live concert setting.
Long battery life with quick charging
With up to 20 hours of playback on the full charge, the SRS-XP500 can entertain you and your guests all night long. If you forgot to charge the speaker and guests are arriving, a quick 10-minute charge will give you up to 3 hours of playback. The Battery Care feature stops charging just before the battery reaches 100% to increase the health and life span of battery.
Indirect illumination
Give your party a fresh, modern look with the indirect illumination lighting concept of the XP500 perfect fit for both parties and everyday use. Integrated multicolor LED lights on either end of the speaker provide subtle ambience or can flicker with the music. Different lighting patterns can be selected via the Sony | Music Center app.
Unleash your inner pop star
Plug in a microphone or a guitar via the mic/guitar input in the rear port. When connecting a guitar, the XP500 can be used as a guitar amp.
Charge Your Device
The USB Type-A port can be used to siphon off some of the SRS-XP500’s power to recharge a smartphone or tablet. It’s a handy feature for giving a guest a quick recharge on their phone, or giving your music streaming device enough power to last the rest of the party.
